Sowing Method:
Start indoors 6–8 weeks before last frost at 70–75°F (21–24°C), or sow outdoors after frost when soil is warm.
Cover lightly about 1/8 in (3 mm). Keep evenly moist with bright light.
Germination: 7–14 days. Transplant after frost; spacing 12–18 in (30–45 cm) for compact types, up to 18–24 in (45–60 cm) for taller plants.
Full sun; well-drained soil. Remove spent blooms to encourage continued flowering.
